AMUZ concert hall

AMUZ is a modern hall situated in and around the baroque St. Augustine Church, located in the centre of Antwerp. With its impressive historic setting and wonderful contemporary architecture, AMUZ adds a special value to all your events and professional activities.

AMUZ is located in the trendy heart of the Antwerp fashion scene. The historic town centre, the shopping district and a wide range of top hotels and restaurants are at walking distance.

AMUZ is easily accessible by car and public transport. A route description and an overview of the nearby bus and tram stops are available on www.amuz.be. A loading area and a small private car park are situated at the back of the hall. Several underground car parks can be found in the area.

AMUZ’s event hall is situated in the 17th century nave of the deconsecrated St. Augustine Church. The building has been restored with the utmost care for its art-historical value, and adapted to the needs of a professional hall. The interior still consists of original woodcarvings and baroque altars with reproductions of works by the great masters Rubens, Jordaens and Van Dijck. Various seating arrangements are possible.

The 19th century Chapel of Our Lady, decorated with wonderful neo-Byzantine murals, forms the décor for AMUZ’s unique foyer. It is the ideal location for activities that require a more intimate atmosphere, such as receptions and standing buffets. The new foyer, a contemporary extension which enlarges the space, creates a splendid contrast with the historic chapel.
